Instant Pot Green Beans with Bacon and Mushrooms



This is an easy and quick pressure cooker recipe for a tasty side dish that goes with any meal. It combines fresh green beans with savory bacon and earthy mushrooms.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Start the Instant Pot and choose the saut setting

Once the bacon is crispy, take it out of the pan and set it aside

The chopped onion and minced garlic should be cooked in the bacon grease until they get soft

When you add the sliced mushrooms, cook them until they give off their water and get soft

Add chicken broth and scrape the pot's bottom to get rid of the fat

Put in green beans that have been trimmed, salt, and pepper

Mix well

Turn off the saut function, put the lid on the Instant Pot, and set it to high pressure for 3 minutes

Once the food is done cooking, quickly let the pressure out

Add the crispy bacon and mix it in

Then, serve the green beans with the tasty mixture on top of them
