Banana Buttermilk Panna Cotta
This vegan Banana Buttermilk Panna Cotta is a delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert. It's creamy, smooth, and bursting with banana flavor, making it a perfect treat for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup canned coconut milk
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons agar agar powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Put almond milk, coconut milk, maple syrup, and agar agar powder in a saucepan and mix them together
Over medium heat, bring the mixture to a simmer and stir it all the time until the agar agar is gone
Taking it off the heat, add the mashed bananas and vanilla extract and mix them in
Put small amounts of the mixture into molds or ramekins
Set it in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or until it's cool enough to touch
Run a knife around the edge of each panna cotta and flip it over onto a plate to remove it from the mold
If you want, you can serve it cold and top it with sliced bananas or fresh berries
