Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, packed brown sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until the mixture is light and fluffy
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined
Gradually add the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
Stir in the chocolate chips
Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart
Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
